It was previously announced that ABC's Shondaland programming block would offer a special look at "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", and now the TV spot has surfaced online. There's plenty of new footage in the newly-released video, one of which captures John Boyega's Finn fighting against a stormtrooper as he uses Luke Skywalker's old lightsaber to slash the villain.

Another new scene sees Finn running next to Daisy Ridley's Rey in a Jakku market before they are thrown to the ground by an explosion. The video then sees Finn's TIE Fighter escaping The First Order hangar bay and flying off into space.

There are also some new looks at Harrison Ford's Han Solo as he heads to an ancient building along with Finn, Rey and BB-8 Droid. Han is also seen in action with his gun before handing Rey the weapon and saying, "You might need this." Besides, the video features a glimpse at Carrie Fisher's Leia at a headquarters, seemingly in the midst of a conference, with Han and C-3PO by her side.

"The Force Awakens" also stars Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Max Von Sydow. The seventh installment of the blockbuster franchise will arrive in the U.S. on December 18.
