The boyband also played some new songs off their upcoming 'MITAM' album and an old hit during their visit to the BBC Radio 1 show.

AceShowbiz - A day before dropping their highly-anticipated new album "Made in the A.M.", One Direction took over BBC Radio 1's "Live Lounge" on Tuesday, November 12. The four-piece treated listeners to some songs from the forthcoming album and an older hit during their visit to the show.

The boys also did a couple of covers in their set. They first played "FourFiveSeconds" by Rihanna, Kanye West and Sir Paul McCartney. "This is a cover that we picked up, we wanted to do it because it's a good song, it's been a big song this year, so we wanted to do our little version of it," said Niall Horan before they launched into the song while being backed by a guitarist and some violinists.

The next song they covered was Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn". That marked Harry Styles and Co.'s first time in five years to perform the tune. They last did it with former bandmate Zayn Malik on U.K.'s "The X Factor".

"Made in the A.M.", One Direction's fifth studio effort and first without Zayn who left the group back in March, is set to hit the stores on November 13. It's been preceded by the singles "Drag Me Down" and "Perfect" as well as a bunch of promo tracks released in the past few weeks.
