Zachary Levi Wants to Reprise Fandral in 'Thor: Ragnarok'
Movie

The 35-year-old actor admits that he wants to reprise his role as Fandral in the upcoming Thor movie because it's 'a fun experience.'

AceShowbiz - While Chris Hemsworth will obviously reprise his role as the God of Thunder in the upcoming "Thor: Ragnarok", some other cast members have yet to be announced. Zachary Levi, who portrayed Fandral in "Thor: The Dark World", said that he wanted to be involved in the third installment of "Thor" movie series.

In an interview to promote his TV series "Heroes Reborn", the 35-year-old actor was asked whether he had been contacted by Marvel to talk about returning for the Thor movie. He said that he had not heard anything from the studio, but he certainly hoped to appear in the upcoming movie. "No, not at all. As far as I know, they are still writing the script. Once that's all buttoned down, I'm sure they will be making the phone call to whatever actors are involved. I hope I'm involved," Levi said.

He continued explaining the reasons why he would love to once again play Fandral. "I'd love to reprise Fandral. That was a fun experience, getting to be blonde, Asgardian and sounding British. I think shooting in Australia would be a hoot. The weather is certainly more conducive to happiness than when we were shooting in London, which is a great city, but pretty dreary," he shared.

Jaimie Alexander will return as Lady Sif with Tom Hiddleston and Mark Ruffalo expected to make appearances. Directed by Taika Waititi, the God of the Norse movie is due to open in the U.S. on November 3, 2017.
