The other honorees at the gala hosted by the British Academy Britannia Awards include James Corden and Sam Mendes.

AceShowbiz - The British Academy Britannia Awards handed trophies at The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Harrison Ford, Meryl Streep, Amy Schumer, James Corden, Orlando Bloom, and director Sam Mendes were feted at the star-studded event.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" director J.J. Abrams presented award to the Han Solo depicter for his worldwide contribution to entertainment. "I can't wait to work with you on Indiana Jones 5," the helmer said. "This is not an announcement, just my fervent hope."

Streep received a prize for Excellence in Film. It was presented by director Stephen Frears. Schumer accepted her award for Excellence in Comedy from Seth MacFarlane. "Amy's vagina is like Benghazi," he joked. "A few years ago, no one knew it existed."

Sam Mendes was awarded for Excellence in Directing and gave tips for "a young director who is taking on an acting franchise." Corden got British Artist of the Year. Bryan Cranston gushed about the "Late Late Show" host, "James Corden is a man who tries his hand at everything and is a success," adding that now "his British sensibility is spreading to America."

Bloom was presented an award by Robert Downey Jr. for his humanitarian work. "I actually did not connect with Justin Bieber," he joked, referring to the rumors surrounding his life. "I do not know Kendall Jenner. But if anyone has her number, I'd love it."
