Along with 5 Seconds of Summer, the two ladies join previously-announced performer Jennifer Lopez who will also host the event.

AceShowbiz - More performers for the 2015 American Music Awards have been unveiled. Dick Clark Productions announced on Wednesday, October 21 that Selena Gomez, Carrie Underwood and 5 Seconds of Summer would be among the stars taking the stage at the upcoming event.

The acts have all confirmed their AMA appearances through their respective Twitter account. "Excited to perform at the @TheAMAs on 11.22! #RevivalAMAs," Gomez wrote alongside a photo of hers.

The newly-announced performers join Jennifer Lopez in the line-up. The ageless diva will additionally host the annual ceremony, which this year will air live November 22 on ABC from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Taylor Swift leads the nominees of the 2015 AMAs with six nods. Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd trail closely behind with five each. The three superstars are pitted against one another in the coveted Artist of the Year and Song of the Year categories.
