Caitlyn Jenner, Britney Spears and other celebrities went purple for Spirit Day on Thursday, October 15. They took to various social media platforms to stand up against bullying and support LGBT youth.
Caitlyn posted on Twitter a picture of her holding a piece of paper with the words, "I Took the Pledge[.] Now It's Your Turn." She captioned it, "I just took the @glaad #SpiritDay pledge to stand up against bullying." She then posted a picture of her showing purple manicure in support of the cause. "I'm joining @glaad and taking a stand against bullying for #SpiritDay!" read the caption.

The "Pretty Girls" singer dyed her rainbow hair purple. She said in the video, "On October 15th, I'll be going purple to take a stand against bullying and support LGBT youth."
Ellen Page also joined Caitlyn and Britney to support the cause. She took to Instagram to share a picture of her wearing a purple T-shirt. She captioned it, "Post surf #spiritday #lgbtq." Anna Faris and Allison Janney, similarly, wore purple outfits in pictures they posted on Twitter. "#SpiritDay Today we stand against bullying. Join us and pledge to treat others as you want to be treated yourself!" Allison wrote alongside the picture.

They held purple T-shirts in a picture posted on the official Instagram account of the show. "Wear purple today to take a stand against bullying in celebration of #GLAAD #SpiritDay!" read the caption.
Bindi Irwin posted on Instagram a picture of her with Vine star Hayes Grier wearing purple T-shirts. "Together we must #ChooseKindness Take a stand against bullying. With the lovely @hayesgrier for #SpiritDay," Bindi wrote alongside the picture.
