AceShowbiz - Chris Hemsworth finally created an account on Instagram on Monday, October 12. For his first post on the photo-and-video sharing service, the hunky actor struck a pose with a big snake in his backyard.

The photo showed half face of the Australian actor who wore blue FDYN hat. Chris glanced at a big snake crawling on the ground of his backyard in the background. He cheekily compared his backyard to the Jurassic Park. "Hangin' with the locals in my backyard... the real Jurassic Park!" he captioned it.

Just 10 hours after Chris posted the photo, it received over 23,000 of likes. So far, the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actor has garnered more than 248,000 followers. After the actor joined the social media, he quickly followed 16 people including his co-stars in "The Avengers", brothers Luke Hemsworth and Liam Hemsworth, filmmaker Ron Howard, official account of "Saturday Night Live" and a fan account dedicated to his wife Elsa Pataky.

Chris' decision to join the social media came over a month after his younger sibling Liam. The actor of "The Hunger Games" made his debut on the social media in late August with a photo of him with Miss Piggy from "The Muppets", hinting that he's going to be a guest star on the show.
