Drake and Future got matching big rings to celebrate the success of their joint mixtape, "What a Time to Be Alive". On early Monday morning, October 12, the Canadian rapper posted on Instagram a video of him proudly showing off the custom-made ring he received from his collaborator.
"Big rings from my brother @future. Champion Sound OVOFBG," Drake captioned the clip that offers a glimpse at the diamond-studded ring adorned with the OVO logo and owl. He wears it on his pinky finger in a photo he uploaded shortly after.
Future gave closer and clearer look at his and Drake's matching rings in a photo he shared on his own Instagram page. He thanked New York City-based jeweler Elliot Avianne in the caption, saying, "My bro/jeweler @elliotavianne always kno how to bring my vision to life...world champions."
"What a Time to Be Alive" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 after its release late last month. The mixtape gave the two rappers their second No. 1 album in 2015. Drizzy previously landed atop the list in February with his other surprise release "If You're Reading This It's Too Late", while Future scored his first No. 1 record on the chart back in July with "DS2".
