Liam Hemsworth joined Instagram and his first post showed off a fling with Miss Piggy. "The Hunger Games" star is joining ABC's new take on "The Muppets" as guest star.
"Spent Friday with the most beautiful girl in the world," Hemsworth captioned the pic of him caressing Piggy. He made sure Piggy's ex-lover knew about it. "Kermit, #SorryNotSorry. #TheMuppets #misspiggy," he wrote.
Miss Piggy also announced the encounter, tweeting, "Loved @LiamHemsworth, our latest guest coming to #TheMuppets. Although, I had to explain that hunger is NEVER a game!" Hemsworth will be playing himself on the series.
Piggy and Kermit split in early August this year after 40 years together. "After careful thought, thoughtful consideration and considerable squabbling, Miss Piggy and I made the difficult decision to terminate our romantic relationship," Kermit announced, adding, "We will be seeing other people, pigs, frogs, et al. This is our only comment on this private matter. Thank you for your understanding."
"The Muppets" series will premiere September 22 on ABC featuring notable guest stars such as Reese Witherspoon and Elizabeth Banks. A more grown-up take of the classic show, "The Muppets" will follow the characters' personal and professional lives.
