The 'Social Network' screenwriter has apparently cooled down after lashing out at the Apple CEO following his not-so-favorable comments on the Steve Jobs biopic.

Aaron Sorkin backs down from his feud with Tim Cook. The Oscar-winning screenwriter apologizes to the Apple CEO after he previously delivered a stinging jab at the executive for calling the people involved in the movie "opportunistic."

"You know what, I think that Tim Cook and I probably both went a little too far," Sorkin told E! News in a new interview. "And I apologize to Tim Cook. I hope when he sees the movie, he enjoys it as much as I enjoy his products."

"Nobody did this movie to get rich," he previously said to THR in a press junket. "If you've got a factory full of children in China assembling phones for 17 cents an hour you've got a lot of nerve calling someone else opportunistic."

Directed by Danny Boyle and written by Sorkin, the biopic stars Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, and Seth Rogen. It will make its way out Stateside on October 9.
