Nick Jonas was all about "Levels" on Sunday, August 30. The former Jonas Brothers member premiered the single's music video that day in addition to performing it live at the 2015 Video Music Awards pre-show.

The music video sees Jonas in a warehouse with dancing girls as he goes up a few levels in an elevator. He also shows some dance moves on top of barrels. Colin Tilley, who had worked with Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj among others, directed the clip.

Inspired by industry, the video is "going to be one of my strongest videos... It continues to set me up as a solo artist. It gives me a better idea of the looks I'm trying to go for," Jonas previously told MTV News. He added, "The concept for the video - basically, we are in this big space, lot of really interesting art decoration, some tires, some barrels, some beautiful women."

Meanwhile, the MTV VMAs pre-show performance had a futuristic theme. Female dancers in silver attires and helmets followed him down the aisle outside the Microsoft Theater. He stumbled upon red carpet host Kelly Osbourne and danced with her.

"Levels" is the first single of his re-released self-titled album.
