After opening the 2015 MTV Video Music Awards with 'The Night Is Still Young' and 'Bad Blood', Minaj and Swift accepted the Best Hip-Hop Video and Best Female Video Awards respectively.

AceShowbiz - The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards has officially started. Nicki Minaj opened the event with a performance of "The Pinkprint" single "The Night Is Still Young" before she showed everyone there's no more "Bad Blood" between her and Taylor Swift when she brought out the pop diva for her "1989" hit.

Shortly after the joint performance, the two ladies returned to the stage to collect their respective awards. Minaj received a moonman from presenter Rebel Wilson after "Anaconda" came out as the winner in the Best Hip-Hop Video category. She thanked her Pastor and used the occasion to fire back at Miley Cyrus who recently slammed her over her Video of the Year complaint.

A moment later, Big Sean and Nick Jonas handed the Best Female Video Award to Swift for her "Blank Space". It wasn't the former country star's first win that night. During a pre-show held ahead of the main event, she nabbed the Best Pop Video title for the same Joseph Kahn-directed visuals.

The 2015 MTV Video Music Awards is airing live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California. Other acts already added to the winners list include Mark Ronson (Best Male Video for "Uptown Funk" featuring Bruno Mars) and 5 Seconds of Summer (Song of Sumer for "She's Kinda Hot"). More winners will be unveiled as the event unfolds.
