Lea says of her life after Cory's death, 'I was genuinely happy and strong and ready to live again,' before adding, 'And that's when someone miraculously came into my life.'

AceShowbiz - Lea Michele has slowly coped with the loss of her boyfriend of two years Cory Monteith. In an interview with FLARE magazine, the "Scream Queens" actress opened up about how she found love after she lost Cory in 2013.

"I wanted to make sure that I was okay with me, feeling strong and feeling happy on my own. I didn't want anybody to fill any holes for me - that sounds sexual!" Lea told the magazine. "I wanted to make sure that I was a whole person again and that no one was coming into my life to put me back together."

"I needed to do that on my own. I worked very, very, very hard and I got back to that place where I was genuinely happy and strong and ready to live again and see the world and, you know, bring in more beautiful experiences," the "Glee" actress said, before adding, "And that's when someone miraculously came into my life."

It appears that "someone" Lea was referring to in the interview is her model boyfriend Matthew Paetz. The two began dating in April 2014 when they met on the set of Lea's "On My Way" music video. Back in May, she posted on Instagram a sweet note on his birthday. In addition to wishing him "the happiest birthday ever," she thanked him for making her "smile again and bringing such a bright joy" into her life.
