The 'One Step at a Time' songstress slams Billboard over an interview headline mentioning her break-up from Jason rather than her career.

AceShowbiz - Jordin Sparks took to Twitter on Monday, August 24 to slam Billboard over an interview using her break-up from Jason Derulo as the headline. She wrote, "I made a better headline 4 you! MT @billboard: Jordin Sparks on her biggest comeback fear 'the landscape has changed'."

A fan wrote, "Agreed, can they just talk about the album and not anything concerning your past relationships." A second fan posted, "I wish people would stop saying her and his name in the same in the same sentence." Another fan added, "I wish people (fans & the media) could recognize that Jason Derulo is not & never has been the definition of Jordin Sparks."
Billboard previously published an interview with Jordin along with headline, "Jordin Sparks on the 'Pain and Confusion' From Her Breakup With Jason Derulo." While Jordin did discuss her split from Jason in the interview, most of her quotes were actually about her new album which is her first in six years.
The article revealed the "No Air" hitmaker's giving answers for queries like "my biggest comeback fear," "my musical hero," and "my most sentimental new song."
In a part of her interview titled "my rebound," Jordin said of her split from Jason, "People think that a celebrity breakup is different, and it is in the way that it's public. But you still feel the same sort of pain and confusion. I just had to deal with it. And I played Big Sean's 'I Don't F**k With You' multiple times a day!"
