T.I. is in serious debt. The rapper and his wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, owe the IRS more than $4.5 million in unpaid taxes from 2012 and 2013.
Documents obtained by Page Six stated that T.I. owed $1,397,283.47 from 2012 and $3,173,476.39 from 2013. IRS filed the two tax liens in Georgia earlier this month.
However, it should not be a problem for the Atlanta rapper. Known for his lavish lifestyle, T.I. is reportedly worth an estimated $215 million. He was listed as one of the highest-paid rappers of 2015 with an estimated combined earning of $75 million, People With Money magazine reported.
T.I.'s representative has commented on the tax liens, telling Us Weekly, "Mr. Harris and his team are working with the appropriate parties to resolve this matter."
T.I. owns the label imprint Grand Hustle Records, several stately houses, nine studio albums, clothing companies, restaurants and luxurious cars.
