AceShowbiz - It's official, Megan Fox is ending her five-year marriage to Brian Austin Green. The "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" actress filed divorce papers in the Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday, August 21.
The brunette beauty, 29, cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason of their separation. The former "Transformers" leading lady is seeking joint physical and legal custody of their two sons; Noah, 2 years old, and Bodhi, 18 months.
Fox listed the date of their separation as June 15 despite recent speculation that they quietly split six months ago. They reportedly did not sign a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot in 2010. She has allegedly hired divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.
Fox and Green first met on the set of the ABC sitcom "Hope & Faith" in 2004. Neither says a word on their split. Rumor has it, "they fight about her career. He would prefer she focus on the family more than being obsessed with getting roles."
