Harry Styles reportedly reached out to Perrie Edwards after he learned of her split from Zayn Malik. A source close to the One Direction singer told Daily Star that he sympathized with her after recalling a difficult breakup of his own.
The difficult breakup the source referred to was the one which Harry told his fans onstage back in June. "It's something Harry really understands from having his heart broken by his first girlfriend when he was 14," the source revealed. "His heart immediately went out to Perrie and he called her up straight away. He's very spontaneous that way. It meant a lot to her."
Despite his kind gesture, Harry and Perrie are not going to date anytime soon. Perrie and other Little Mix members previously called Harry a "ladies man and a player" in an interview with Capital FM Radio. His move also came as a surprise to his fans who might not know his soft-hearted side.
The 1D member is also concerned about Zayn's alleged diss to Taylor Swift. "Harry's kind of worried about Zayn after his Twitter rants," an insider told HollywoodLife. "He thought Zayn's diss to Taylor was uncool and passive aggressive."
Harry "thinks this may be the beginning of Zayn spiraling out of control after ending things with Perrie," the insider added. "His rants are not a good sign at all, and this won't be good for him professionally either. At this point, 1D would never want a reunion with him because he's just too toxic."
