Salma Hayek and Kerry Washington serve as co-hosts at the benefit concert starring Pearl Jam, Beyonce, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran.

AceShowbiz - Stephen Colbert and Hugh Jackman are tapped to serve as emcees for the upcoming Global Citizen Festival. The "Late Show" host and the Wolverine actor are scheduled to host the event held on September 26 at Central Park in New York.

Co-hosts for the upcoming concert include Jackman's wife Deborra-Lee Furness and such actresses as Salma Hayek Pinault, Kerry Washington, and Olivia Wilde. Meanwhile, the musical guests are Pearl Jam, Beyonce Knowles, Coldplay, and Ed Sheeran.

"It's a huge concert for a great cause, ending poverty by 2030. And 2015 is a crucial year for ending poverty everywhere because this September, world leaders are gathering at the UN to announce their global goals for the next 15 years," Colbert said in a video announcement, before jokingly adding, "If everything goes according to plan, in 15 years, the nation of Greece will still exist."

The Global Citizen Festival is in its fourth year. Past performers include Jay-Z, Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, Foo Fighters, and No Doubt. This year, the concert will air on MSNBC and stream on iHeartRadio and Tidal.
