Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner were spotted in a family day out with their children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, at a school fair in Atlanta on Saturday, July 25. It was the first time the estranged couple was spotted together with their children since announcing split last month.
Jennifer looked content as she held their son while Ben barely smiled when they played at the school fair. Ben covered his head with a blue baseball hat. The kids were seen enjoying a bouncy castle and some games at the venue. Ben was photographed giving example of how to play softball to their son and his pal.
After they got out of the venue, Ben and Jennifer treated their children to ice creams to cope with the hot weather in Atlanta that day. Both Ben and Jennifer looked casual for the family outing. They were also spotted wearing their wedding bands. A source previously told PEOPLE that their children were the reason why they were still wearing their rings. "They just want them to be okay," said the source.
When Jennifer finishes filming "Miracles from Heaven" in the city, the family will return to Los Angeles, where they will live in the same house. According to Us Weekly, the estranged couple is planning to rent Brooke Shields' Pacific Palisades home, which is quite near to their home because their mansion is currently being renovated. "They are just going to rent the house for a time until the renovations are complete, not moving into it full time," a source told the website.
