AceShowbiz - Ben Affleck was spotted carrying an adorable dog with him on Monday afternoon, July 20. The "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor flew back to Atlanta via a private plane to rejoin his estranged wife Jennifer Garner and their three children.
The 42-year-old actor looked casual in a blue shirt and jeans. Affleck completed his look with a cap, brown hooded jacket and sneakers. Once again, the actor wore his wedding ban after several times being spotted without his wedding ring. Meanwhile, the adorable "family dog" appeared sleeping tight on his cuddle.
"It's their new puppy," a source close to Affleck and Garner said. "It's a family dog. It's another sign they are working together to raise kids and be in a kind relationship." According to Us Weekly, the dog was adopted in the Pacific Palisades this spring, shortly before the celebrity couple announced their split on June 30.
It was the second time this month Affleck flew to Atlanta to see his children who are staying with their mother. A source previously told PEOPLE that their children, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel, "are a big part of why they're still wearing [the rings]. They just want them to be okay."
Last month, when they announced their split, they also mentioned about co-parenting their children and asked people and media to respect their children's privacy. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time," they said in a joint statement.
