The movie is made by the same studio which produced 'Sharknado' and will star Backstreet Boys and NSYNC members.

AceShowbiz - Nick Carter is approaching some big names in music industry to join his Zombie movie "Dead 7". He took it to Twitter to reach out to Paul McCartney, former Spice Girls Melanie Brown, Sisqo, and most recently One Direction star Niall Horan.
The Backstreet Boys member wrote, "I'm literally out of my damn mind but... @PaulMcCartney would you make a cameo in my movie??? LMFAO #Dead7 P.s. You're GOD of boy-bands." He also tweeted, "Ok @NiallOfficial I know we're from different generations but...would you like to play my brother in this zombie movie with me? #Dead7."
In another post, he wrote, "Hey @OfficialSisQo, I know it's been a while but give me a shout back. I wanna talk to you about possibly acting in a movie with me? #dead7." To the former Scary Spice, he tweeted, "hey @OfficialMelB Would you be interested in acting in an action movie with me, killing zombies and saving the world? #Dead7 @theasylumcc."
The movie was announced at the San Diego Comic-Con last week. Nick started writing the screenplay five years ago. He is also expected to direct and star in it along with his wife Lauren Kitt. The project was produced by The Asylum, the same studio that made SyFy's "Sharknado" which has turned into a franchise.
Nick has already recruited fellow BSB bandmate A.J. McLean and member from the rivaling group NSYNC, Joey Fatone, for the TV movie. He also has talked to other BSB members, Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson. "They're interested fro sure. #boybanddead7," so he said on Twitter. Meanwhile, his choice of love interest is another former teen idol, Hilary Duff.
"I wanted my friends in the film with me," he explained. "What is more fun than riding horses and being zombies shooting things? Even as a kid I loved horror films, this was always something I wanted to do."
