The niece of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar shows off her engagement ring after saying yes to her boyfriend's proposal.

Amy Duggar, the niece of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, is one step closer to walking down the aisle. The aspiring country music singer who appeared on several episodes of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting" is engaged to her boyfriend, Dillon King.
"I'm engaged!!!!! Soon to be Mrs. King!!!" she posted on Twitter a picture of her beau getting down on his knee. She also uploaded a collage of photos that showed the romantic setting of his proposal. There was a candle-lit path leading to a table with more candles, champagne, a framed photo of themselves and the ring in its box. "Simple & Sincere! I loved it," she said.

She said of him, "He loves the Lord, he makes me laugh uncontrollably, he's loyal, he's patient, he's my best friend! Of course I said yes!! l love you so much! @kingdillpickle #DillandDuggsforever."
Her fiance himself wrote, "@amyduggar I asked you to be my fiancee not just because I love you right now. I got down on one knee because you are the only woman I have and will truly love forever.!!! Xoxo."
The couple has been together for less than a year. They have been sharing on social media affectionate pictures of them kissing and locking lips. It's clear that she doesn't follow the same set of guidelines as her cousins who are not allowed to kiss before marriage and hold hands before engagement. "I'm not going to change who I am to have a certain image," she explained. "I'm the free spirit of the family. I'm not being rebellious; I love my family. I just have to be true to myself."
Besides starring on "19 Kids and Counting", Amy appeared on TLC special "A Duggar Leaves Home" which saw her pursuing her music career. She's described as "the fun-loving cousin" who's "a little louder, a little wilder" than Jim Bob and Michelle's kids. In the wake of the family's molestation scandal, she wrote a brief cryptic note online, "Never stop praying."
