AceShowbiz - Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin put their split rumors to rest as they were spotted spending the Independence Day together in New York City. The two were also seen walking side by side in the city on Friday, July 3.
According to PEOPLE, Lawrence and Martin were walking near Central Park in Manhattan on Friday night. A source told the magazine, "They were walking arm-in-arm, in a hurry it seemed. It looked like they were dressed for date night."
Twitter user @Nick_Bun said that he witnessed the celebrity couple riding bikes at the Battery Park, N.Y.C., on the Fourth of July. He wrote, "Just saw Jennifer Lawrence and the dude from Coldplay riding their bikes lol!" When he was asked whether there were any bodyguards around the couple, he said, "not sure. Was another person with them so I would guess that was the bodyguard ha."
The last time Lawrence and Martin were spotted together prior to the Fourth of July weekend was when they attended a U2 concert and after-party in Los Angeles in early June. Recently, the star of "The Hunger Games" reportedly split from the Coldplay frontman. The split was allegedly due to their busy schedules. Besides, Lawrence has allegedly been spending more time with her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Hoult as they are currently filming "X-Men: Apocalypse" together. "They're on great terms now," a source said of Jennifer and Nicholas. "And their families have stayed close."
