Princess Charlotte's christening is attended by just 21 official guests including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip as well as the princess' five godparents and other close family members.

AceShowbiz - Princess Charlotte was christened at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham on Sunday, July 5. Charlotte arrived at the church in a stroller pushed by her mother Kate Middleton while her father Prince William walked hand-in-hand with Prince George.

Kate wore an ivory dress paired with matching hat and pumps. Her hair was styled in elegant updo. William donned a navy suit paired with a light blue shirt and red polka necktie. George, meanwhile, looked cute in a white short-sleeved shirt and red pants.

Charlotte was christened in a short private service conducted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Right Rev Justin Welby. The ceremony was attended by just 21 official guests including Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles and Camila, Carole, Michael, Pippa and James Middleton as well as the princess' five godparents and other close family members. Prince Harry missed the christening because he's currently in Africa.

Charlotte's godparents were Kate's cousin Adam Middleton, William's cousin Lady Laura Fellowes, three of the couple's friends Sophie Carter, Thomas van Straubenzee and James Meade.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose two hymns, one lesson, and two anthems for the christening of their daughter, Princess Charlotte," Kensington Palace said. The hymns chosen for the intimate congregation to sing were "Praise to the Lord" and "The Almighty and Come Down, O Love Divine."

Mario Testino, who photographed the engagement of William and Kate, was tapped to take the official photographs of the christening party.
