The 'Heroes' revival is set to debut Thursday, September 24, the same day new series 'The Player' kicks off and 'The Blacklist' returns with its new season.

NBC has released a new promo for its highly anticipated miniseries "Heroes Reborn". The video doesn't give a look at any of the show's characters as it poses the question, "Where Are the Heroes?" The world is apparently in dire need of help from the "heroes," or as known on the series the people with superhuman abilities.
Along with the promo video, a teaser poster for the 13-episode event series has been debuted online. Meanwhile, NBC has set Thursday, September 24 as the premiere date of the "Heroes" revival. To air at 8 P.M., the show will be followed by hit drama "The Blacklist" and rookie series "The Player".
"Heroes Reborn" takes "on the ultimate struggle between those with extraordinary abilities and those with nefarious motives to hunt and harness their powers. Epic adventures await these newly empowered allies as they cross paths with some of the original characters (such as the beloved 'HRG' and fan-favorite time-traveler Hiro Nakamura), unlocking the mysterious fate of the universe and their place within it."
In addition to bringing back original stars such as Jack Coleman (Noah Bennet), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura), Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Dr. Mohinder Suresh), Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian/Rene) and Noah Gray-Cabey (Micah Sanders), the miniseries features Zachary Levi, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Danika Yarosh, Judith Shekoni, Kiki Sukezane, Henry Zebrowski and Gatlin Green.
