Responding to the cheating accusation made by his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj on Twitter, Safaree Samuels pointed his finger back at her. The 33-year-old rapper obliquely accused the "Anaconda" hitmaker of cheating too when they were still together.

Safaree told TMZ, "It's a two-way street." He admitted that both of them were cheating on each other. "I'm not perfect, nobody's perfect," he added. The "Love the Most" hitmaker said that he already moved on as he's currently focusing on his music career. "I'm happier than ever," he said.

The rapper was trying to make it clear that his new single "Love the Most" wasn't a diss to Nicki. He said that his song was about his life, instead. "It's just me explaining where I'm coming from. I ain't tryin'a beat nobody down or nothing like that," he explained. "I had a whole album written about me."

Earlier this month, Nicki took to Twitter to slam her ex-boyfriend for dissing her in his song "Love the Most". She tweeted, "Lesson: don't cheat on a loyal woman. God will punish u. When he does, tell people the truth. The truth may set u free. Love. Always." The tweet was soon removed but she went on a rant with a series of tweets.

Insiders told Urban Islandz that Nicki's current boyfriend Meek Mill was the one who told her about the accusation so that she would hate her ex-boyfriend. They said, "Yes, it was Meek who told Nicki that Safaree cheated on her and that all came from a small conversation that they had where SB was joking about being famous and f**kin' different hoes and s**t like that."

"So you can see this was something planned out and well executed by Meek to have Safaree out Nicki's life by poisoning her mind against him. All I know it was a messed up situation and the winners and loosers are clear," the sources added.
