The first images of the animated comedy "Kung Fu Panda 3" have arrived. Making its way out via USA Today, the three images feature Jack Black's Po, the leading panda in the film along with his family who were all presumed dead.

In the first "Kung Fu Panda" movie, Po had been adopted by Mr. Ping the goose. Po believed that his entire family was no longer alive and he was a lone survivor. However, the first images of "Kung Fu Panda 3" prove it wrong as they feature Po with other panda family members in a "secret panda village."

The first image shows Po having fun in a river with other pandas including some baby pandas. The second image teases that in the upcoming movie, Po meets his biological father Li (voiced by Bryan Cranston). In the photo, Po smiles while hugging his father whom he'd never met in a long time. Black describes Li as "the master of chilling, of having fun."

It seems like Po will also encounter his love interest in the upcoming movie. The third image captures a female panda named Mei Mei (voiced by Rebel Wilson), who is speculated to be Po's love interest. In the photo, the female panda dresses up in a red Chinese dress and appears to be a ribbon dancer.

"Kung Fu Panda 3" features the original characters from the previous installments, including the Furious Five kung fu warriors and warrior trainer Master, Shifu (Dustin Hoffman). The voice cast also includes Angelina Jolie, Jackie Chan, Seth Rogen, David Cross and Lucy Liu. Directed by Jennifer Yuh, the animated movie is slated for a U.S. release on January 29, 2016.
