Ellie Goulding revealed that she was the one who set up the pop princess Taylor Swift and her longtime friend Calvin Harris. She said that the two had some qualities that would match to each other.
The "Love Me Like You Do" songtress told The Sun, "I did play matchmaker, that's true." Interestingly, she thought that both Swift and Harris would be compatible because of their personalities and height. "Calvin is a really great mate and he's so fantastic, and Taylor is such a cool person who I love. I thought, they're both really awesome and both really tall, they'll be brilliant together," the 28-year-old singer said.
Goulding and Harris have worked together on some projects, including the track "I Need Your Love". Besides, she is one of Swift's buddies who appears on Swift's "Bad Blood" music video.
Swift and Harris started dating in March. The "Bad Blood" singer was spotted in Vegas to see the Scottish DJ's performance. Just a week later, they were spotted together in Nashville. Since then, the duo were more confident to show their relationship to public. Swift even shared sweet kiss with Harris at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards.
