AceShowbiz - Contrary to circulating rumors, Jessica Simpson and her husband Eric Johnson (II) are not renewing their marital vows. National Enquirer previously reported that the couple planned to renew their vows to fix their supposedly crumbling marriage.
According to the news outlet, Jessica and Eric were "so desperate to get their rocky marriage back on track that they're renewing their vows." A so-called insider claimed, "Jessica is frantic to keep this family together. They put on a happy face in the media but they argue all the time - mostly about her dieting."
According to the insider, Eric wanted her wife to quit abusing diet pills and "cut back on the booze." The insider added that if the "Blonde Ambition" actress could get her act together, she and Eric would renew their vows this summer.
Gossip Cop was quick to come up with a denial to the rumor though. The site cited its own source close to Jessica as claiming that the rumor was "totally not true" and the couple is doing "great." According to the source, the "With You" songstress and her husband have no plans to renew their wedding vows.
Jessica and Eric recently celebrated the five-year anniversary of their first meeting. The 34-year-old singer posted on Instagram on May 21 some photos of their celebration. She captioned one of them, "The sexiest day of my life was 5yrs ago when Johnson came into my home #MAY21."
She also posted two photos of her children Maxwell and Ace.
