Tampa Bay Lightning is set to play another game at Amalie Arena on June 6, the same venue and date one of the country singer and wife Trisha Yearwood's shows was scheduled to take place.

AceShowbiz - Garth Brooks' upcoming concerts in Tampa are no longer scheduled. The country superstar and his wife Trisha Yearwood have been forced to cancel three shows slated for early June because the city's NHL team Tampa Bay Lighting have made it to the Stanley Cup Finals.

Part of his ongoing tour, Brooks' concerts were supposed to take place at Amalie Arena on June 5 at 07:00 P.M. and on June 6 at 07:00 P.M. and 10:30 P.M. They're all nixed as the Lightning is now set to host a game against the Chicago Blackhawks on June 6 at the same venue.

Brooks and Yearwood announced the cancellation in a statement posted on his website over the weekend. They first congratulated the Lightning for advancing to the Stanley Cup Finals before explaining why they needed to scrap the three shows.

"All parties looked into moving Saturday's two Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood shows to Sunday. The issue of getting the network crews and their gear out of the building and getting our crews and gear into the building late Saturday/early Sunday for two shows on Sunday raises serious safety concerns. It is because of those safety concerns that the choice is being made to refund all shows and reschedule depending on finding a date that works for both the arena and the tour," read the statement.

"This was a hard decision for everyone... We are convinced everything that could have been done was done to try to remedy the situation," it continued. "Congrats again to the City of Tampa, good luck, and we will be watching the series!!!"
