AceShowbiz - "Community" fans can expect the return of a familiar face in the upcoming season 6 finale. Just days before the said episode is released online on June 2, new report emerged suggesting that Yvette Nicole Brown would be reprising her role as Shirley Bennett for the season finale.
The rumor started after a Reddit user posted guest listing for the said episode. Yahoo Screen has not confirmed it, but Brown's return wouldn't be that surprising since she previously appeared in the season 6 premiere. The season 6 finale of the cult sitcom reportedly will also feature Seth Green.
Brown left "Community" in 2014 after five seasons to take care of her ailing father. She, however, is open to returning to the Dan Harmon-created comedy series, saying that she could recur on the show.
She's currently starring in a permanent basis as Dani on CBS' sitcom "The Odd Couple".
