AceShowbiz - Ken Jeong shares his emotional reaction to reading the script for the upcoming "Community" movie, providing an update on the project's development.In a recent interview with TV Insider, Jeong, who portrayed Ben Chang on the original sitcom, revealed that reading the script left him feeling deeply moved.

"It just brought me right back," he said. "There is a script, there is a plan. We just don't know when [it will happen]."

Despite the lack of a confirmed production schedule, Jeong expressed his excitement for the potential on-set experience. "I think being on set experiencing that again [will be] so gratifying. Words can't even express," he said.

The "Community" movie, which was announced by Peacock in 2022, will see the return of several original cast members, including Joel McHale, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs and Jim Rash. Dan Harmon, the series creator, is also attached to the film.

Peacock had previously confirmed that all of the castmates, except for Chevy Chase, had agreed to participate in the project. Harmon has emphasized the importance of capturing the genuine chemistry between the cast on film. "The thing that's going to matter most to me as an audience member or to anybody who loved that show is seeing those people see each other," he said.
