AceShowbiz - Zedd took to Instagram on Monday, May 18 to share a photo of him and Nina Dobrev. In the photo, Nina could be seen leaning on Zedd's shoulder as they smiled to the camera. The former star of "The Vampire Diaries" wore a strapless top while the DJ sported a red plaid shirt and a white tee.
Zedd captioned it, "Thank you for teaching me your selfie tricks @ninadobrev . My eyes couldn't find the camera lens though." Nina later reposted the photo along with caption, "Thank you for teaching me your DJing tricks. I would never be able to spin as good as you though. #Repost @zedd."
Nina also reposted Zedd's second album "True Colors" logo.
Dating rumors between Zedd and Nina quickly emerged following the cute postings. However, a representative for the star of "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" told HollywoodLife that they were not in a relationship. An insider told the site that Nina had "fears" of dating Zedd who previously was rumored to be dating her best friend Selena Gomez.
The insider said of Zedd and Nina, "They are friends right now mostly because of different fears. Zedd thinks Nina is hot and would date her in a heartbeat. A few things are holding stuff back. He is scared to be in the tabloids again and she doesn't want to upset Selena."
