Getting back to work after her recent nuptials and honeymoon, Nikki Reed will be turning 27 years old this coming Sunday, May 17, during when she will be having a celebration with her family. Speaking to E! News while attending Maybelline New York's 100th anniversary, she opened up about her birthday plan.

"Oh my god, time flies! It's a big one," she raved. "We are planning a little birthday BBQ so something is happening, literally flying in for it."

"You know, I don't get to spend as much time with my family as I'd like so I try to make it such a priority," Reed revealed further. "Any form of a celebration, whether it's a birthday or holiday or whatever it is, we try to all get together."

Growing up idolizing her mother, the “Twilight” actress told E! News, "My mom's the strongest, boldest woman I know. She is my role model in every way. It's really a beautiful thing to sort of idolize someone so close to you." And when beings asked if she would like to have her own children and raise them just like what her mother did, she replied "At some point, yes."

Nikki Reed tied the knot with actor fiance Ian Somerhalder in a private ceremony near Santa Monica, Calif. on April 26. The newlyweds then enjoyed romantic honeymoon and shared some photos from their getaway on Instagram.
