In anticipation of her "#1 to Infinity", Mariah Carey has dropped her newest song "Infinity" from the album. The only original track from the record which will accompany her Las Vegas residency, it was premiered on YouTube on Sunday, April 26 along with its glittery, butterfly-filled lyric video.
On the mid-tempo R&B tune she co-wrote and co-produced, Carey talks about putting an end to her relationship with her man. "Close the door, lose the key/ Leave my heart on the mat for me/ I was yours eternally/ There's an end to infinity/ To infinity," she sings in the chorus.
Set to hit the stores on May 18, "#1 to Infinity" is Carey's first to be released under Epic Records, which she joined earlier this year to reunite with her longtime collaborator L.A. Reid. It will also feature her 18 songs that have hit No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100. The diva will perform the tracks off the album during her residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace starting on May 6.
