The slow-tempo ballad will be featured in the second 'Pitch Perfect' film that's scheduled to open in U.S. theaters on May 15.

AceShowbiz - Jessie J has recorded a song for the soundtrack of the upcoming movie "Pitch Perfect 2". The track titled "Flashlight" was supposed to come out later this month, but it unexpectedly hit the web on Monday, April 21.
A far cry from her recent hits like "Bang Bang" and "Burnin' Up", "Flashlight" is an emotional slow-tempo ballad that highlights the British songbird's powerful vocals as she sings about someone who's always be there for her.
"I got all I need when I got you and I/ I look around me, and see sweet life/ I'm stuck in the dark but you're my flashlight/ You're gettin' me, gettin' me through the night/ Can't stop my heart when you shinin' in my eyes/ Can't lie, it's a sweet life," she sings.
Directed by Elizabeth Banks, "Pitch Perfect 2" is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on May 15. Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson and Brittany Snow who appeared in the previous film, 2012's "Pitch Perfect", are reprising their roles as Beca Mitchell, Fat Amy and Chloe Beale, respectively.
