Rayvon Owen and Daniel Seavey, who were on the bottom two on Wednesday night, April 1, sang for life and fans chose on Twitter who should be saved.

AceShowbiz - The Judges' Save had been used earlier on "American Idol" season 14, but the show didn't run out of idea to make the elimination interesting. On Wednesday night, April 1, the contestant with the least vote wasn't immediately sent packing, but he/she and the second bottom placer competed for the Twitter-powered Fan Save.

Before that, the other seven finalists performed Kelly Clarkson's hits, with the former "Idol" winner herself serving as guest mentor. Nick Fradiani was first to be announced safe. He sang "Catch My Breath". Keith Urban said Nick still needed to loosen up a little bit, Jennifer Lopez gave some advice about his movement, and Harry Connick Jr. said Nick finally caught his breath, but it wasn't his favorite vocal.

Jax Cole also advanced. She sang "Beautiful Disaster" and made the arrangement her own. J.Lo used the words "pretty" and "beautiful" to describe the performance, while Keith praised her artistry.

After a group performance of "People Like Us", Tyanna Jones took the stage to sing "Mr. Know It All". Harry noted there were some pitch issues, "but when you are singing from the heart it doesn't matter as much." Keith, however, thought that Tyanna didn't connect to the song.

Joey Clark also made it through. She sang "Miss Independent". Keith liked it, as J.Lo called it one of the best performances of the night. Harry, meanwhile, complained that Joey treated "the jazz elements of the song as a novelty."

Kelly Clarkson made a musical performance to deliver her new song "Heartbreak Song" before Quentin Alexander was announced safe. He sang "Dark Side", which J.Lo said was a perfect song for him. Harry said creativity had to be balanced with skills, so Quentin had to learn more about harmony and chords.

Qaasim Middleton was also safe. Following the judges' advide, he toned down his performance by delivering an acoustic version of "Stronger". The judges agreed that the tones were not right and Qaasim should've done it better.

Kelly Clarkson returned to the stage to sing "At Last", before Clark Beckham performed "The Trouble With Love Is". J.Lo said she had gooseys "from head to toe," but Keith thought Clark needed to "lead with the feeling." Harry said Clark nailed the song.

Rayvon Owen and Daniel Seavey were in the bottom two. The former sang "Since U Been Gone", and the latter performed "Breakaway" while struggling with laryngitis. After fans cast their votes via Twitter, it was revealed that they chose to keep Owen on the show, meaning Daniel was eliminated from the competition.
