Kendrick Lamar Set to Headline Hot 97's Summer Jam

The Compton rapper, Chris Brown, Trey Songz and Big Sean among others are taking the main stage at the festival scheduled to take place at NJ's MetLife Stadium on June 7.

AceShowbiz - Hot 97 has announced the full line-up of performers for this year's Summer Jam. The station revealed on Tuesday morning, March 31 that Kendrick Lamar would headline the event, which is set to take place at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium on June 7.

Joining the Compton rapper to perform on the fest's main stage are Chris Brown, Trey Songz, Big Sean, Meek Mill, Fabolous, Childish Gambino a.k.a. Donald Glover, Omarion and Ty Dolla $ign. Meanwhile, the outdoor festival stage will feature B.o.B, Joey Bada$$, Dej Loaf, Travi$ Scott and Teyana Taylor.

"This is the event that is known throughout the world as the premiere hip-hop concert to be at," Deon Levinston, General Manager for Hot 97, said in a statement. Tickets are now on sale at Ticketmaster.com.

Lamar is currently enjoying the success of his newest album, "To Pimp a Butterfly". The record, which unexpectedly came out in late February a week ahead of its scheduled release date, last week debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200 with 363,000. It marks the Grammy-winning spitter's first LP to land atop the chart.
