AceShowbiz - Divorce is on the card for Jean-Claude Van Damme and his wife Gladys Portugues Van Varenberg. The two have been married since 1987 and are parents to two adult children; Kristopher (b. 1987) and Bianca (b. 1990).
Filing divorce documents in Los Angeles on Wednesday, March 18, Gladys cited irreconcilable differences as the reason that prompted their separation. The former professional bodybuilder is seeking for spousal support and planning to drop his last name Van Varenberg, TMZ reports.
The latest divorce is the couple's second. Back in 1992, Gladys also sought divorce from the film actor. They, however, reconciled and reworked on their marriage. Comments have not yet been made by either Gladys or Van Damme regarding the latest divorce filing.
Notwithstanding the divorce, Van Damme is still active in film industry by securing roles in action films. He is currently filming "Kickboxer", which is expected to be released in theaters later this year.
