AceShowbiz - Lil Wayne has given his remix to O.T. Genasis' hit single "CoCo" a music video treatment. Debuted on Wednesday, March 18, the clip directed by Eif Rivera finds him rapping his verse while being locked up in a cage, a symbolism of his current situation with Cash Money and its boss Birdman.
Inside the cage, shirtless Weezy spits some bars about wanting to be set free. "Now I don't want no problems, I just want my money," he says. At one point, Nicki Minaj and Drake's faces flash on the screen as the Young Money leader declares ownership over his artists.
The "CoCo" remix appears on Wayne's "Sorry 4 the Wait 2" mixtape which he released after he found out the highly-anticipated "Tha Carter V" was postponed by Cash Money. Following the latest delay of the fifth "Carter" album, Tunechi sued Birdman for $51 million.
While the long-awaited record has yet to have a new official release date, Wayne has been readying "The Free Weezy Album" that's scheduled to come out soon.
