Greater than plans to recast the vacant spots, the execs are said to be planning to create a different show with the same concept.

AceShowbiz - Following the departures of Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin, E! executives reportedly plan to recast the vacant spots on "Fashion Police" left by them both. According to a report by TMZ, the people behind the show "realized Kathy wasn't the star Joan Rivers was and are ready to find new replacements".

Previous reports suggested that the likes of Naya Rivera, Christina Milian, NeNe Leakes, and Khloe Kardashian were the frontrunners for Kelly's replacement. But new claim mentions Melissa Rivers may be the most possible candidate.

While nothing is not yet official on the possible replacements, TMZ claimed that E! execs would go ahead with the show. Even greater, they are said to be planning to create a different show with the same concept.

Late last month, Kelly Osbourne announced her exit from "Fashion Police". And then late last week, Kathy Griffin publicly announced via a post on her Twitter that she's quitting the show after being announced as a replacement to the late Joan Rivers in December last year. Following both stars' departures, rumors swirled that E! might cancel the show.
