Sources close to Adelman claim he believes they have 'different family values' judging from the way she acts around other men, especially fellow dancers.

Karina Smirnoff is back on the market as she has reportedly called off her engagement to fiance Jason Adelman. The now-former couple got engaged in January this year after dating on and off for a year.
Neither Smirnoff nor Adelman has addressed the news of their broken engagement. Sources close to Adelman, meanwhile, informed TMZ he was uncomfortable with the way she got along with other men, particularly other dancers, and thus believed they had "different family values."
A representative for Smirnoff says Adelman's claim is "disrespectful and insulting to the entire dance community." The representative adds that it is "nothing less than an attempted smear campaign from a malicious person."
Prior to getting engaged to Adelman, Smirnoff had been engaged twice. The first one was to fellow "Dancing with the Stars" pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy back in 2008, and then to MLB player Brad Penny in 2010. 37-year-old Smirnoff is currently in the midst of a tour to promote her new book, titled "We're Just Not That Into You: Dating Disasters from the Trenches".
