Iggy Azalea Hilariously Tells Ryan Seacrest About Papa John Story

The 'Fancy' rapper hilariously recalls the moment when Papa John's delivery man freaked out when meeting her before giving out her phone number.

AceShowbiz - Iggy Azalea gave a funny take on her recent Papa John scandal during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" on Tuesday, February 24. Iggy appeared to be moving on from the ordeal as she laughed at it when Ryan asked her for a clarification.

"Actually I've lived in the same neighbourhood and ordered from the same Papa John's... and these guys are always awesome," she told Ryan. "They have my real phone number but it's not my actual name, I will say that. It doesn't say Iggy Azalea or even Amethyst Kelly, it says Alejandra Hernandez, as a matter of fact, [who] is my best friend."

The "Problem" rapper went on, "They got a new delivery boy who is a bit younger, he's maybe 18. He came to my house to deliver the pizza and he was like, 'Whose Ferrari is that?! Oh my God!' I was like, 'Well it's mine. Here's your tip, thanks for the pizza, bye!' He was like, 'Wait! Wait! Oh my God it's you, isn't it?! Oh my God, it's Iggy Azalea!'"

"And I was like, 'Got to go! I'm home by myself and I just want these cheese sticks. That's all I'm here for.' So I was a little concerned, but I didn't complain. I didn't want to be rude to the boy, he was a young guy."

Iggy said in the next day, she began getting missed calls from an unknown number. "I started to get a lot of missed calls from a number I hadn't seen before, which is unusual for me because I don't give my number out to a lot of people," she said. In the next day, the 24-year-old rapper began receiving a lot of text messages and she decided to read them.

She continued, " 'Is this Iggy Azalea? My brother delivered the pizza to you two days ago and he gave me your number.' And he gave his cousin my number too and she wanted to talk and everybody wanted to talk."

Iggy then called Papa John to alert them about the situation. "I said, 'I order pizza from you guys and I think you guys do a really good job. But, I think you've employed someone new who is absolutely out of his mind, and I'm getting some phone calls and text messages that I shouldn't be getting.' "

The store's manager said the delivery guy must be Ryan who had been hired two weeks ago and they would gave him a permanent leave. Instead of firing the delivery guy, the manager sent her a text message which read, "Don't worry, I've spoken to Ryan's mother about it and it's all good."

Iggy said, "That was not all good. I don't think speaking to somebody's mother who is a grown adult enough to have a pizza job delivering pizza, is actually sufficient to me. I need to know that something is actually happening about people who are thieving people's information. I think that's kind of a serious thing. I think it's dangerous for other people. If you have a daughter who's 17 or 18 and gets the pizza, does he get that girl's number and start texting her?"

She later joked, "I've been talking to Pizza Hut and I'm a VIP member now."
