Madame Tussauds Hollywood revealed the wax figure of the 'Lord of the Rings' actress on Thursday, February 19.

AceShowbiz - Cate Blanchett has her figure immortalized in wax ahead of Oscars. Madame Tussauds Hollywood revealed the Oscar-winning actress' wax figure on Thursday evening, February 19 at TCL Chinese 6 Theatres in Hollywood, California.

Madame Tussauds Hollywood shared on Instagram a close-up photo of Cate's wax figure along with caption, "To kick off Oscars weekend, we are thrilled to welcome our first new figure of the year and last year's Best Actress winner, Cate Blanchett!"

Cate's model wore a one-shoulder, floor-length golden gown with a little train and red and gold obi. The wax figure's hair was styled in voluminous curls. Wearing dramatic lashes and red lipstick, the model's look was completed with gold earrings and a sparkling necklace.

Cate can be seen in three upcoming movies "Cinderella", "Carol" and "Truth". In "Cinderella", the 45-year-old Australian actress plays Lady Tremaine, the wicked stepmother of Cinderella. She stars along with Lily James, Richard Madden and Helena Bonham Carter. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters in the U.S. on March 13.

Cate stars in "Carol", a film based on Patricia Highsmith's novel "The Price of Salt", along with Rooney Mara, Sarah Paulson and Kyle Chandler, while in "Truth" she is joined by Robert Redford, Topher Grace and Elisabeth Moss.
