Benedict Cumberbatch and his new wife Sophie Hunter stepped out for the first time since their Valentine's Day wedding ceremony. The newlyweds were photographed leaving the Sun Inn pub in Hulverstone, Isle of Wight on Sunday afternoon, February 15.
Some photos obtained by Mail Online showed Benedict holding his pregnant wife's hand as they stepped down the stairs. The "Sherlock" star wore a grey flat hat, sunglasses, a black leather jacket over a black tee, navy jeans and brown shoes.
Sophie, meanwhile, kept herself warm in a knee-length cape coat, blue pants and black boots. She completed her look with a pair of red lens sunglasses.
Benedict and Sophie got married in a secret ceremony at the 12th Century St Peter and St Paul church in Mottistone, Isle of Wight on Saturday, February 14. They were feted by 40 guests of family and close friends including his "Sherlock" co-stars Martin Freeman and Andrew Scott as well as his "War Horse" co-star Tom Hiddleston.
Prior to the wedding ceremony, Benedict reportedly hosted a party for 140 guests at the George Hotel in Yarmouth on the island. "Benedict had a big party here on Friday night," a source told the Daily Mail, "There were about 140 people and it was a buffet meal. We have all been told to keep quiet about it and not tell anyone."
