Two 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1' Deleted Scenes Released

One of the scenes features Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss Everdeen talking to Haymitch, while the other sees Katniss sporting embarrassing makeup.

AceShowbiz - Two deleted scenes from "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1" have been released in anticipation of the movie's home video release. Fans who already miss the archery-loving heroine Katniss Everdeen can see her in the videos while waiting for the home video which is out on February 17 on Digital HD and March 6 on Blu-ray/DVD and on demand.

In a video which arrived online via USA Today on Saturday, February 14, %cJennifer Lawrence%'s Katniss is seen having a heated conversation with Haymitch (%cWoody Harrelson%) about Peeta, played by %cJosh Hutcherson%. "You promised me you would save Peeta," she tells the man. "I know, I know," he replies.

Another scene, which arrived via Vulture, offers a bit of funny side of the action flick. On the clip, Katniss is seen enduring beauty treatment from a not-so-competent glam-up team before she is rescued by Effie, played by %cElizabeth Banks%. "This is the face of revolution," she scolds them.

"Mockingjay, Part 1" received hot response when it was released on November 21. The follow-up, "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 2", is set for release later this year on the same date.
