Vin Diesel has one of the best Valentine's Day gifts ever. Ahead of this year's celebration, the actor posted on Facebook a new video of him covering "My Heart Is Open", Maroon 5's love song featuring Gwen Stefani. "Happy V day...," he simply captioned it.
Dressing in a plain white tank top, Diesel showcases his vocal chops while standing in front of a projection of Adam Levine and Stefani's performance from last weekend's Grammy Awards. Emotionally singing with his eyes closed, he does his best channeling Levine's signature voice. He also tries, but fails, to hit the high notes.
Diesel is no stranger to performing covers. Last year, he sang Sam Smith's smashing hit single "Stay With Me" while promoting his film "Guardians of the Galaxy". In the previous year, he did a rendition of Rihanna's "Stay".
While he has no plan on making a full album right now, Diesel will still excite his fans when he returns as Dominic Torreto in the upcoming "Furious 7". The film, which will feature the last scenes of the late Paul Walker, is opening in U.S. theaters on April 3.
