It seems like the wait for Missy Elliott's new music will be over soon. Days after revealing she'd work with Timbaland, the raptress shared on Twitter a photo of her hitting the studio with the producer. "Me & @Timbaland bk 2 the drawing board studio dirty beats!" she captioned the snap showing her posing in an all-black outfit next to Timbo.

It's been nearly ten years since Elliott released an album. Her latest LP "The Cookbook" arrived back in July 2005. Fans are now expecting a follow-up in the wake of her successful "surprise" performance with Katy Perry at the Super Bowl XLIX earlier this month.

Elliott, however, can't promise a full-length right now. In a recent interview with SiriusXM's "Sway in the Morning", she said, "I don't want to say too much because in this day and time, boy, you say something, they will come back two weeks later like, 'Where your album at?' "

While fans are waiting for Elliott's new project, the "Work It" hitmaker can be heard on an upcoming remix to Jack U a.k.a. Diplo and Skrillex's "Take U There". A snippet for the new version was recently posted on Diplo's Instagram.
