The big winner at the 57th annual Grammy Awards makes it clear that he has no hard feelings towards Kanye despite the rapper's jab and agrees that Beyonce should have won.

AceShowbiz - Beck speaks up after Kanye West almost crashed his speech and later dissed him over his big win for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards. Beck keeps it classy as he responds to the rapper's rant. "You can't please everybody, man," he shrugs it off.

"I was just so excited he was coming up. He deserves to be on stage as much as anybody," Beck said to Us Weekly after the show. "How many great records has he put out in the last five years right?" He added, "I still love him and think he's genius. I aspire to do what he does."

Beck didn't dispute Kanye's statement that Beyonce Knowles should have won the coveted prize. "Absolutely," Beck humbly responded when asked about his thoughts on the matter. "I thought she was going to win. Come on, she's Beyonce!"

Beck beat Beyonce, Sam Smith, Pharrell Williams, and Ed Sheeran at Sunday's awards. As he collected his Golden Gramophone and started his speech, Kanye jumped onto the stage and approached Beck but backed off at the last minute.

Many thought the rapper was just making fun of his infamous stunt at the VMAs when he interrupted Taylor Swift after she won Album of the Year over Queen Bey six years ago. But turned out it wasn't. "If they want real artists to keep coming back, they need to stop playing with us," he said to E! after the show. "We ain't going to play with them no more. 'Flawless'. Beyonce's video. And Beck needs to respect artistry, and he should have given his award to Beyonce."

"At this point, we tired of it. What happens is, when you keep on diminishing art, and not respecting the craft, and smacking people in the face after they deliver monumental feats of music, you're disrespectful to inspiration, as musicians, have to inspire people who go to work every day, and they listen to that Beyonce album, and they feel like it takes them to a different place."

"And then they do this promotional event, and they'll run the music over somebody's speech, the artist, because they want commercial advertising. We aren't playing with them anymore. And by the way I got my wife, my daughter, and I got my clothing line, so I'm not going to do nothing that would put my daughter at risk, but I am here to fight for creativity," he went on. "That's why I didn't say anything tonight, but you all knew what it meant when 'Ye stepped on that stage."

While Kim Kardashian didn't join her husband's rant, she shared her reaction to Beck's win by posting online a picture of her making funny faces with John Legend and Chrissy Teigen. "This is the Beck won that award face?!?!?!" so she wrote.
