Naomi Watts almost fell onstage when she was going to make a speech at the 2015 Screen Actor Guild Awards on Sunday, January 25. At the event, Naomi and her fellow "Birdman" co-stars accepted the Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture award.
When heading to a standing microphone in front of her, the "King Kong" actress tripped on Emma Stone's floor-length sheer skirt. Naomi could be heard screaming, "Oh my God! Wow!" as she was helped by Edward Norton. The "St. Vincent" actress then laughed it off onstage and said, "Thanks to the Screen Actors Guild. This is a wonderful experience, so collaborative," before passing the turn to Zach Galifianakis.
Emma was surprised and made a wide-eye expression when Naomi tripped on her skirt. Andrew Garfield's girlfriend screamed and said "sorry" while holding her skirt behind. She kept holding her skirt when she was making a speech in front of the audience. "This really is absolutely amazing, and it's so incredible to look out and see so many wonderful actors... We're so grateful," Emma said.
Naomi came to the awards event wearing a sabrina navy long dress. Her blonde hair was styled in voluminous side-swept. Emma, meanwhile, sported a long black blazer with a sheer black floor-length skirt. Her hair was styled in low ponytail. She completed her look with red lips.
